## What we collect

When you call or email us about a garage door, we collect what is needed to do the job: your name, phone number, email address, the service address, and details about the door and opener being worked on. If we install a door for you we keep the order details, because that is what lets us order a matching section years later if one gets damaged.

## What we use it for

- Scheduling, dispatching and performing the work you asked for.
- Quotes, invoices and service records.
- Contacting you about work in progress, or about something on your door we flagged for follow-up.
- Warranty claims with a door or opener manufacturer, where a claim needs the original order.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. It is shared only with the software and suppliers used to run the business, such as scheduling and invoicing software and the door manufacturer on a warranty claim, and only as far as your job requires.

## This website

This website has no accounts, no forms and no advertising or tracking cookies. When you visit, the hosting provider records standard technical logs such as IP address and pages requested, in order to serve the site and keep it secure, as effectively every website's host does. If a booking form or visit statistics are added later, this page will be updated to say so before they go live.

## Calls and messages

Phone calls are not recorded. Voicemail, text messages and email about a job are kept with the job record so the next person who picks up the file can see what was already discussed.

## How long we keep it

Customer and job records are kept as long as they are needed to stand behind the work, honour warranties, and meet tax and legal record-keeping obligations, and then disposed of.

We handle personal information in accordance with the federal [Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)](https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/P-8.6/).
